Why You Should AttendWhat we know is that we are moving toward a world with reduced carbon emissions. There are many drivers behind this movement: government policy, utility goals, corporate citizenship, environmental stewardship, price and supply stability, cost savings, and more.We know that wind and solar are growing as supply-side technologies. We also know that electric vehicles have received the bulk of the demand-side attention. But more than 40 percent of our energy is used to provide comfort heating and cooling where we live and work. Without changes in that market as well, we won’t meet our emissions goals.We’ll explore short-term and long-term opportunities that geothermal can provide to manufacturing, schools, commercial projects, and homeowners, and provide a neutral resource for governments, businesses, and consumers to learn more about the current state and future state of regional and national geothermal markets.Agenda
